School Fuel Mix

Ingredients:
3/4 c brown sugar
6 T margarine or butter (not from a tub)
3 T light corn syrup
1/4 tsp baking soda
4 c Corn Chex
4 c Rice Chex
1/4 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Microwave brown sugar, margarine, and corn syrup in a large bowl on high for 1 to 2 minutes until margarine in melted.  Stir in baking soda.  Stir in cereals.  Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring after every minute.  Spread on cookie sheet.  Cool 10 minutes.  Break into bite sized pieces.
